IMPORTANT REMARKS   Rates are inclusive of comprehensive insurance with Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection & Personal Accident Insurance (PAI). Fuel Charge: At renter’s cost NON-WAIVERABLE EXCESS: A non-waiverable excess of $135 is payable for each & every claim where fault is assigned to the renter and CDW has been taken/included. Police Fines: All fines levied by the traffic department or Municipality for speeding, parking offences as well as accidents are the responsibility of the renter. A service charge of US$08.00 will be applicable. Delivery & Collection: During working hours/days free delivery and pick up at hotels (Except Shangri-La & Al Bustan). A surcharge of US$08.00 applies to each delivery and pick up during Fridays and national holidays. US$ 10.00 will be charged for each delivery and pick up at Al Bustan Palace Hotel or Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah. Budget Rent a Car has a 24 hour counter at Muscat airport for collection of delivery/drop of vehicles. CAR RENTAL COMPANIES WILL RENT THEIR VEHICLES ONLY TO CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE VALID CREDIT CARD. Credit Card imprint will be taken as a deposit from the client to recover traffic violation penalties if any. Driver Charges: US$50 (minimum charge) for 08 hours city use. Additional hours charged at US$ 08.00 per hour. For overnight trips Single Room accommodation is to be provided for the driver and also the meals (or meal allowance of US$15.00 per day). For overnight stays, an additional allowance of US$ 10.00 also payable apart from accommodation. Border Crossing insurance (if driving to UAE) & Drop off at other cities in Oman or in Dubai will be applicable if these services are required.
